Luton Town will face Saudi Pro League side Al Kholood in a pre-season friendly on July 25th. The match will take place at the Pinatar Arena in Murcia, Spain. This will be the Hatters' final match before the start of the 2026/27 season. Al Kholood finished 14th in the Pro League last season and reached the final of the Saudi King's Cup, losing 2-1 to league runners-up Al Hilal. The match will kick off at 11am local time, which is 10am BST. Ticket details for supporters wanting to attend will be released in due course. This completes Jack Wilshere's squad's public match schedule in preparation for the 2026/27 campaign, with local trips to Hitchin Town on July 11th and Barnet before they head off to Murcia on July 19th. Following their return on July 26th, a behind-closed-doors friendly will be played before Eredivisie side Go Ahead Eagles visit Kenilworth Road for a 1pm kick-off on August 2nd. The following weekend sees the EFL season start with the Carabao Cup first round, with the opening Sky Bet League One fixtures to be played on the weekend of August 14-16th.
