Luton Town's 61FC marked its 65th anniversary with a huge celebration at its home ground in Kingsway Park on Sunday, June 7. The club, which started in 1961 as part of a youth club set up by a church in the town centre, has been going for more than six decades. Chairman, Richard Everitt, organised a reunion day for teammates to connect and share stories from over the years. The 82-year-old said: 'It was an amazing day and a really good turnout.' Mayor of Luton, Cllr Javid Hussain gave a speech, complimenting the club and its legacy. Richard added: 'The bonds built here still tie us together, and the turnout showed just how much the club continues to mean to so many people across Luton.' The club's 65-year history is a testament to the dedication and passion of its members, and the celebration was a fitting tribute to their hard work and commitment.
